Anyone noticed this?

Yeah - but it's VERY similar.Rudy wrote:"Curse of Enchantia box art Totally Looks Like KQVII box art"
Actually it should be "KQVII box art Totally Looks Like Curse of Enchantia box art" since Curse of Enchantia was released first (1992). It could be a coincidence though. The box art is pretty "cliche" for lack of a better word: a witch casting a magic spell. I wouldn't make anything of it.
I did find this - but this is new. The witch is at the very top. But nowhere near as similar as the other two covers for the games. Not to mention it's a Blu-Ray cover, which obviously post dates both games.AndreaDraco wrote:I may be wrong but I think that both stem for a similar picture dating back... perhaps even to Snow White or some other Disney cartoon.

Most of the images on that page are scans from Sierra game catalogs from the late eighties. I assume detailed drawings were made for each of those pre-release covers, but whether they still exist or can be found is doubtful. Strangely the Genesta/Lolotte KQ4 box art was still used in the Fall 1988 catalogue, a while after the game was already released with the Rosella/Unicorn cover.Maxor127 wrote:Here's an interesting page about Sierra box art because for some reason the unreleased KQ4 cover popped in my head. Does a high resolution image of it exist?
