Hey everyone,
I'm hoping that some of you here might be able to help me out with a small project.
As part of my ongoing Sierra archival and research efforts, I'm in the middle of rebuilding Sierra websites of note, at the moment the official Quest for Glory 5, King's Quest: Mask of Eternity and Gabriel Knight 3 sites, and possibly others in the future.
The Wayback Machine is woefully inadequate to browse these sites for historic purposes, especially considering that there is a lot of missing content - html files, image files, sound files, movie files, etc.
If anyone out there has any saved files from old Sierra websites, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you, in this topic or by contacting me through my profile.
Thanks!

Re: Rebuilding Sierra Websites
Are you missing anything from those three?

Re: Rebuilding Sierra Websites
Yeah, I'm missing a lot
Unfortunately, right now I only have the stuff that was on the Wayback Machine. I don't have personal archives of those websites from back when they were actually up.

Re: Rebuilding Sierra Websites
Most of the MoE site seems to be available on the wayback machine.

Yeah, the sites can appear pretty good until you start to dig deeper. There are images on sub-pages and popups and all kinds of things missing. I think the Gabriel Knight site is the most complete of the three sites, but it's still missing stuff too. HTML from the 90s And you don't notice things like missing background images, unless you remember them, or are going through all the code, because they just don't appear. And the downloads are basically non-existent.
