I've just installed this game, and from the introduction it surely seems promising.

I'll reply to your two your old post because no one else did. I liked it a lot back in the day, however the graphics were ugly even back then, and the digitized actors was very cheap and comical. I was a fan of the books though, and the gameplay itself was solid. I especially liked having a huge open world to explore from a first person perspective. It was the most epic game I'd played at the time, and I actually enjoyed how I had to travel a long distance just to get to somewhere because it made the game feel more "real."
