Hello,

I've recently bought a copy of the King's Quest Collection (2006) from Amazon specifically to play KQ6 with the high res dialog portraits. I couldn't get any game in the collection to work at all on my computer (vista 32bit) until I downloaded the patch mentioned at this link:

That was an amazing help since the games are playable, but what I'd really like to do is run the windows version of KQ6. I've gone through as many discussions and forums as I could possibly find. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am working on updating the installers and patches. Currently I am working on the KQ collections and will be starting on the 2006 collection later this week. The updated version will support the Windows version on all versions of Windows. It will also include a high quality copy of the closing theme song, Girl in the Tower.

Sounds pretty sweet. I'll be looking forward to this.

If nothing else comes up this weekend, look for it sometime next week.
