Cleaning out my inbox I found this - don't know if all of these are already known or not...
In most games, you can enter the debug mode by pressing ALT-D, ENTER, ENTER. However, in some versions of the following games you will
need to use the following commands:
Game Command
King's Quest 3 "rats ass"
Police Quest 1 "stink bug"
Goldrush "bird man"
Space Quest 2 "backstage" or "dbg"
From there, you can do the following (note that not all commands will work in all games):
Command Description
tp Teleport (takes you to a different room). Each room has a different number.
get object Get any object (inventory item). Tell the game the number of the inventory item and it will give it to you.
object number Shows the inventory items and their numbers.
object room Tells you which room an inventory item is located in.
gimme gimme Get all inventory items
room number Shows character's x/y co-ordinates, current room number.
show var or sv Display value of a variable
change var or set var Changes value of a variable
view flag or show flag View whether a flag is set or not
set flag or sf Sets a flag
reset flag Resets (clears) a flag)
ALT-V or priority Displays priority screen (where you can/can't
walk, what areas take you to different screens, e.t.c.)
ALT-I or sp Shows information about screen objects
ALT-M Displays heapsize
