What role did he have at Sierra? This is the first I've heard of him. Always sad to hear of a passing, though.

From everything I gather on the memorial page, he was one of the programmers.

I have noticed his name in game credits a number of times. His was one of the friends that Facebook kept suggesting for me because of all of the Sierra people in my list.

I'd recommend joining the FB group I posted in the first link... some great things being said about him, and a great insight to what some others are sharing about their days at Sierra.

I'm shocked... People were wishing him a happy birthday (he would have been 49 yesterday), only to be informed he had passed away 2 months ago. He was a good friend of Al Lowe, worked on many projects with him. You will definitely know him from his cameo in Larry 6, when Larry calls building maintenance and Carlos (the Hispanic guy) picks up and continually mocks at Larry.

RIP Mr. Escobar

He also had a cameo in Leisure Suit Larry 3. He shows up in the maid's room, but I think it's an Easter Egg, so - happy hunting.

Very sad to hear of his passing.

I'm shocked and saddened to hear of Mr Escobar's passing. I greatly enjoyed his work on QfG1, the Larry series and Freddy Pharkas.

Requiescat in pace.
