Having trouble with GK2, inventory won't scroll down

I installed my GK 2 from the GK Mysteries set using the installer given on the Sierra Help pages. However, I'm stuck and I'm not sure what I can do about this.

The scrolling of the inventory is not working. Specifically, I'm in Chapter 3 where I need to purchase the clock to use as a diversion at the club. Hitting the scroll arrows on the inventory will not change the screen (even though I know I have things, such as my wallet, in the inventory). I can't purchase the clock without the wallet.

I'm using Windows 7. Everything installed correctly through the installer. I think the scroll worked at an earlier point, I'm not sure though on that one.

I've closed the game, set DOSBox for administrator and compatibility mode to Windows XP, I've done the same with the game itself, and I've still got this problem. Any ideas on what I can do?

Can you attach a save game?

Sure. Let me know if I've got the wrong file.

Also, I did go check with a fresh save game. Apparently I couldn't scroll down in inventory even before the save.

Sorry, the catalog file (GK2SG.CAT) is needed to be able to use the save games.

Sorry about that. Attaching it now.

Sorry that it took me a while, but I had to reinstall, first. I am not sure what may be going on for you, but the scroll arrows on the left of the inventory is working for me. I don't know if it matters, but he save game that you attached is from Day 1, not 3.

Could it be an issue with the resolution? Perhaps the arrows are too far over?

No, the arrows are there; I can click on them. The first time I click the down arrow, it moves slightly, but then it doesn't move at all. And by slightly, I mean not enough to even see the next row of icons.

zip and attach all of your save games.

Well, I only had that one save. So this is the zip file of whatever is in the save file: that one save game, the .dir and a resource file.

And just to add, since I'm not sure you saw it in one of my posts. I started the game over from the beginning and found the scrolling problem in it from a fresh start -- I didn't need to use the save to have the problem.

It still works for me. Run the diagnostic tool and attach the results here. Perhaps I'll be able to determine what differences you have.

There is no differences between your folder and mine. I cannot replicate your problem. Are you sure that you are simply clicking and holding (not trying to drag) the scroll arrows?

If it's GK2 through DOS (there was a DOS version, right? Or was it Windows only?) - I was going to say, if Tin could do a DOSBox capture and upload it to youtube or something?
