Gabriel Knight 1 extra point

I have played GK1 probably about 50-60 times, but who's counting.. anyway, several times I got an extra point, 343 out of 342. Does anyone know what I do to get that extra point? The last time I played and got the 343 I did a print screen just in case anyone doesn't believe me that I got an extra point, but I sure would like to know what triggers that extra point. Any ideas? Thanks.

This is the first time I hear it. But I'd certainly be interested in knowing the answer myself :)
