Hi everyone! I'm Nicki, I was referred here by Tawmis. I've been a huge fan of Sierra's games since I was kid in the '80s. I write a blog that is memoirs from my childhood, told in cut-paper storyboards. I recently made one about playing KQIV with my sisters... without the knowledge that there were hint books. You can read it here:

http://themiddlestsister.com/2011/11/02 ... f-rosella/

It includes a re-created scene of the dwarves' house made of cut paper. It took foreverrrr, but I am really proud of the way it turned out!

I'm looking forward to posting here in the future!

Glad you made it over here, Nicki!

As I said on the SierraGamers forum - I absolutely love how you remade the Dwarf House out of paper. That type of creativity always amazes and impresses me (because I have no skill or know-how on how to do it and how to make it look that cool!) Well done!

And feel free to jump into the rest of the forum and have some fun! We're all Sierra lovers (it's why we're here! Well a few people I have shackled in chains to post here... but most are here of their own free will!)

Ha! I used to play these games the same way!

Children are absolutely merciless when it comes to parser interfaces.

One of the ones that cracks me up every time is MI's KQ3 contribution

Yes! That made me laugh... I just replayed KQ3 a couple of weeks ago and I saw that scene a LOT.
