I tried making this topic a second ago, got some error. So I'm posting again. I didn't get a chance to see the error. If I post double please delete my old one. As this one has diag info.




I am running Windows 7 Professional x64 bit. I had this game when I was a kid and after a long search, not just by me but some guild mates of mine, I remembered the name. I randomly started thinking about some of the town from this game and the grapling hook and stuff. And I just got the biggest boner to play it.

Well, onto my issue. I couldn't find a place that had any info on if this would work with my OS, so I didn't want to commit the 30+ bucks for the game and shipping and it not work. I got the game on download, burned it to some CD's and I downloaded the x64 bit installer and the patch.

I installed the game, then installed the patch. Now when I boot the game up, leaving disk 2 in the disk drive, it says 'Please insert the game disk.'

Is this because I am using a burnt copy? Is this because it isn't compatible with my OS? If it isn't, is there anyway I can play this game? Please assist if you can, thank you.

Since you downloaded the game, I cannot guarantee that the installer will work with it. Support for "abandonwarez" games is not provided. This is not a stance of moralizing, but of practical concerns. Besides the legal issues, there are too many unknown factors. Most have been ripped, hacked, cracked or altered in some ways that lead to unpredictable problems. As a result, all of the installers here are designed to be used with the original media.

You can try installing it normally without the external installers and then apply the windows 64-bit patch.

The installer includes the patch.
