Having trouble with the Inca installer.. When it gets to the part where it tries to make the iso, a message pops up saying "mkisofs.exe has stopped working". After clicking Close Program, the installer proceeds with the rest of the installation but the iso is not created and the game asks for cd. The last line in the console before this message pops up is "Execute: mkisofs.bat" (however a few lines before that it says "Extract: mkisofs.exe").

If you are using a virtual CD like Daemon Tools, try disabling all of the virtual drives.

The only virtual drive I have is Virtual CloneDrive and I disabled that. Tried installer again and same thing happened. I just read in another post that your installer has issues when there is more than one cd drive. I do have 2 cd drives (with the Inca cd in the first one), so I disabled my second drive. After doing this, I ran installer again, and the same error occurred, but it did create the ogg this time. But it still didn't create the iso and the game still asks for cd.

Then I am not sure what there is about your system that mkisofs does not like. Perhaps the driver for Virtual Clone Drive? You could just create an ISO separately from the installer named "CD.iso" and drop it in the game's folder

I did just that and everything seems to be working fine. The Inca 2 installer behaved the same way. Not sure why but all is well now..
There are 2 things I'd like to note though if I may..
After loading Inca 1 via your exe, the conf suddenly disappears from the folder and I have to create a new one in order to play again. I uninstalled/reinstalled again to see if it would happen again and it did. It really doesn't bother me personally since I always run my games through my own confs and shortcuts, but thought I'd let you know anyway. Perhaps its related to that error I get during installation, not sure..
Second, this may also be related to that error or perhaps its your personal preference, but after installing Inca 2 with your installer the spoken language changes to French (I believe, but its definitely not English). But if I replace the installer's voice.inf with the default it changes back to English. Figured that out on my own fortunately. It's odd because when I looked in setup it said language was English but anyhow it's all good now. As an aside I actually like the French speech better, I wish I knew more French so I could play it that way. It sounds more authentic, while the English speech sounds almost comical at times when it shouldn't be and it really doesn't fit the game as well imo.. Anyway my Inca's are working perfect now, I think I shall play for a spell..

It is something odd about the game that it deletes other files in the game's folder. Setting the files to read only seems to halt the behavior.
