Quest for Glory V Character Import Problems

Hi Guys. I have an unusual problem importing my characters into quest for Glory V. I'm using the Quest for Glory Importer '95 to create some characters for Quest for Glory V. The Thief, Wizard, and Paladin all import correctly. But the Fighter is imported as a magic user. Is there any way to fix this? If not, I think I have found a work around. Quest for Glory I and II import just fine, and I could make due with these, but if it is possible to fix this, I would like to. I've also tried to import Quest for Glory III characters from the install, but Quest for Glory V won't even recognize these. And, I haven't had time to play through the series to know if this still happens with characters who have completed the game. Thanks for your time.

I did not write the app, so I am not sure what may going on with it. I only saved it from Geocities before it went down. I don't know if the author can still be contacted or not.

I understand, those programs were always use at your own risk anyway. And, as an aside, thanks for making those installers available. Being able to play one of my favorite series again is most appreciated.
