Useful Website: PDF Search Engine

Occasionally as I review the hits to SierraVault I find a thing or two on the internet I didn't know about. It seems to be one of the small rewards for running a website: many times the places that link to your site are places that you would like and you get to reverse find things on the web. In the past I've shared this type of stuff in my forums but since I'm here now you all get it.

This looks to be a Google level search engine only looking for PDF files. It was hit or miss on the few searches I did but the search that brought it to me was someone looking for a "Caesar 2 tutorial" and it linked to the scanned Caesar 2 Game Manual I had up. One of the other links was another copy of the same manual in Italian.
As a side note: I'm still trying to figure out how the search someone did for "Traci Elizabeth Lords" about four months ago landed them at SierraVault. As I told my guys at the time when I was trying to figure out which one of them was the pervert, if you don't know who she is don't just enter that in Google - especially if you are at work. I did.

That sounds pretty neat. I'll look into it.
As for Traci Lords... who wouldn't know her story? If someone didn't know who she was, why would they search for her online? Even if they had some idea (but didn't know the specifics), they could have easily looked her up on Wikipedia.

I don't know her or her story.
But I'll take your word for it that she's a very unlikely reason for visiting Sierra Vault!

She's a world famous p0rn star from the 1980s. What actually made Traci Lords famous wasn't her "acting ability." She fooled the entire p0rn industry by taking part as a minor. She apparently used false ID and back then, the provisions for checking age weren't as stringent as they are now (probably due to what Lords did).

Heh - I have no idea how I missed out on Ms. Lords. DeadPoolX is dead on. I was just humorously amused by the fact that someone set out to find out about a mid 80s p0rn star and ended up coming to SierraVault. And what the heck is going on with Google's search engine?

I am surprised most men don't at least know who she is (in the US)...

I have two EXCELLENT reasons for not knowing who she is.
1. I am not in the US.
2. I am female.
