DVD DOSBox Installer causes tape splice bug on GK2

Hi, I tried installing GK2 with the DVD DOSBox installer, but it causes some of the text in the tape splice puzzle to be missing (and repeating some) making the puzzle impossible. Anyone else with this problem? I've checked that the puzzle works fine when I try to play with DOSBox without any patches. I've also tried the subtitle patch and it has no effect to the bug.

Your save just makes the game crash. Is your copy a localized copy? Is this with the English or Spanish subtitle patches?
