I have never seen such a collection.
For all classic Sierra fans, this is a must-see. Please wander over to
Andy's forum on the SierraForums, which includes links and updates to the most stupendous collection of InterAction magazine scans you have ever seen.

Andy's work is indeed amazing. I never had the chance to see one of those issue, and now I can and I'm grateful!
Great, great work!

Am I just too stupid to figure it out?
I went to the site, click one of the threads -
http://www.sierraforums.com/viewtopic.p ... 30a6e56c74
And all the links within are broken?

Uhm... It gives the same error to me...
I usually go to Sierra Vault by clicking the main link or Andy's signature... I didn't try the threads/links before!

We'd better let Andy know - I checked links from the Sierra Vault forum rather than from his updates.

...and enjoy. *smile*
I must say, I was much amused at the Leisure Suit Larry poster that parodied the Doors! *G*

Hey gang - late to the party.
Sorry for the broken links in the early "update" posts. I started SierraVault to teach myself how to code webpages and the first few iterations of the site were sorta... basic. In addition I made some basic architectural mistakes early on I had to back out of such as not putting the site in it's own domain.
I wanted to get the update links up mostly to credit the contributors on some of the early material that came into SierraVault before I took my forums down. I really don't have things credited as clearly as I did there anywhere else. The problem, of course, is that most of those links used the earlier architecture of the site. Later updates (post 4/11) point to what should be about the right place and even more recent updates (post 6/1) should all be 100% correct.
I'm glad you guys are enjoying the collection but please don't give me all the credit. On that InterAction page I point out several other people that worked with me very hard to bridge the gap at the end of the project when I had about ten issues still missing. One of them registered at this site just yesterday, DaveJustDave. In some cases these brave souls actually put amazingly rare copies of InterAction in the mail to me and trusted me to scan then and return them. That was a big, big leap.

Because of that site, I looked up some old issues of Nintendo Power from the 1980s. I wish I had kept the 1st issue (which I had) because now it's something of a collector's item.

And hey, since this is a showoff thread let me point you toward a few more places on SierraVault that might not be obvious:
Almost full collection of Sierra Hintbooks:
http://sierra.gracenroark.net/index.php?pr=Hint_Books
These were submitted fully by a guy named Vasyl. He has worked out a way to scan the "see through" red text hintbooks with alternative settings on his scanner and created some beautiful PDF files that show the obscured page on one side (with the question) and the unobstructed page on the other side (with the answer).
Full collection (as far as I know) of every Sierra Catalog
http://sierra.gracenroark.net/index.php?pr=Catalogs
What came out when and how much did it cost? Here you go.
Chronological Collection of Computer game magazine articles related to Sierra and Sierra games from 1981-1999
http://sierra.gracenroark.net/index.php?pr=Articles
Pick the year on the left hand menu and start browsin!
Enjoy!

This is the section that really drove me away: awesome! I've read all the old reviews of
Gabriel, and I'm currently reading the article related to QfG5!

I haven't noticed any gaps, but DPX might be a better person to ask. I know he collected them with almost religious zeal...!
