With titles like endless ocean, zak and wiki, the agatha christie series, the strong bad series for the wii ware service and sam and max season 1 the wii is currently the best console for adventure games but even then endless ocean is the only one I would consider great and pajama sam don't fear the dark is also great. What I'm wondering is if there are other good adventure games. Endless ocean is so far the only adventure game i would want to buy for the wii.

I moved this topic in the Non-Sierra Games thread.
I don't own a Wii, but I'm sure someone will know a good title to point out.

As you said, the entire first episode of Sam & Max: Freelance Police is on the Wii. Considering that the Wiimote could easily act as a mouse and has performed those duties before in many games and applications (such as the Opera web browser), I don't see why this wouldn't work.
Something else that's interesting is that I've seen this game for $19.95 on the Wii, whereas it's $29.95 on the PC. Granted, those prices are in Canadian dollars (so it may be less in USD) and I'm comparing EB Games and Future Shop, the latter of which has been known to overcharge. Regardless, this accounts for one the few times I've ever seen a console version sold for less than the PC edition.
Two other adventures on the Wii are Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked! and SPY Fox in Dry Cereal. I haven't played either, so I don't know if they're good or not. If I recall correctly, SPY Fox in Dry Cereal (on the Wii) is actually a remake of the Windows/Mac version released in 1997. Apparently, there are sequels available for the computer, but not on the Wii so far.
Consoles having adventure games is nothing new. Escape from Monkey Island (otherwise known as "Monkey Island 4") and Shadow of Destiny were both released much earlier on the PS2. I'm sure there have been a couple of adventures on the Xbox, Gamecube, Xbox 360 and PS3 as well. But the Wii, at this point in time, is definitely the console of choice if you like adventure games.

Along with Nintendo DS, although I found its titles quite boring and repetitive.

I never was a fan of the monkey island games but then again I never did really like any of the lucus arts adventure games. The big problem is that none of the new adventure games can match the quality of the older sierra and humongus titles. While humongus makes kiddy games I'm just a big fan of them with titles like putt putt and of course pajama sam I feel there games are just so great. Freddi fish 5 is an example of an excellent adventure game. I think the 1st 3 putt putt games were also released for the 3do but I could be wrong and that thing was just way too expensive. pajam sam 3 probsbly had the greatest game title ever. Pajama sam 3: you are what you eat from your head to your feet. That phrase alone makes you want.

My little sister played all of the Humongous games. Pajama Sam was good but I liked Spy Fox the best because it reminded me of Get Smart the TV series.
