Leisure Suit Larry 3 Problem
Leisure Suit Larry 3 Problem
I used the patch to install Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits and Misses but I think it caused a problem with LSL3. Normally, there's supposed to be some sort of age verification check when I run the game, but I don't even get that and the game defaults to "Mother Goose" without there being any way of changing it.

Re: Leisure Suit Larry 3 Problem
Just curious, is there a way to keep the age test out and be able to change the filth level? or only way is to remove that script and take the test?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
Larry Laffer: So... uh, did I ever tell you I know Al Lowe personally?
Drew Baringmore: Who? Oh, I remember him! He came through here last November. Unimpressive.
Larry Laffer: Yeah, maybe.
Drew Baringmore: Not him, Larry. You!

It might be possible to edit the original SCRIPT.140 in a hex editor to do this.

Or you can look at Larry Laffer Dot Net - LSL 3 Page to see how to by pass the "Age Check" and still be at "max filth level." That same page also has all the answers to the questions if you want to go that route as well.

Re: Leisure Suit Larry 3 Problem
Thanks for the tips, I noticed, if I remove the script, then do the age check bypass (then select the filth level, in this case 5), and then quit the game (didn't save) I can then re-add the script and the level stays at 5. kinda neat ^-^

Re: Leisure Suit Larry 3 Problem
A little late, but I found out why this is, when you answer the questions, it makes a file called "RESOURCE.LL3" this tells the game what level you got in the quiz. Just plopping that in the LSL3 game directory will give the age version of the game that the "RESOURCE.LL3" scored when answering. I've attached my LVL 5 file
