Demo walkthrough?

I have never played the game but decided to play the walkthrough before that. Well I am stuck. I got past the vultures, jumped the gap and clicked on a cave where I was supposed to meet some skunks but I got only a message window.

I thought I finished the demo so I selected Quit only to see a message box that I haven't seen the whole demo.

This confused me. There isn't any other exit or object and whenever I go I see only message boxes. So I wonder if there is anything else to do in this demo

I know it sounds lame to ask hints for a children's walkthrough but if it was the real game I would know that I had to go somewhere
