Weird Dreams

I've definitely had some very bizarre dreams. Most of the time, I can't remember them (although Maia has told me I sometimes talk in my sleep, which may be due to a dream).
Anyway... it might be interesting to hear about some of the odd dreams we've had. Since I've made this thread, I'll go first:
Last night, I had a dream involving Maia, Almirena and myself. Get your minds out of the gutter!
No... the dream was about "Evil Al" who had kidnapped our Al. "Evil Al" put Al into a monkey zoo exhibit and strapped a little beanie with a propeller on it to her head.
It gets weirder.
Maia and I were apparently on a hover craft speaking in that unintelligible alien language that all non-human creatures in the Star Wars universe seem to have. The scene suddenly changed and for some reason I was in "The Running Man" movie but playing laser tag. And I don't mean the modern conception of it, but the original 1980s version!
Finally, Maia woke me up.

I'm speechless...
And I can't stop laughing!

You have just given me my morning laugh!
DPX, do you think the beanie with the propeller might have something to do with the "Helmet of Doom"?

No more late night Sci-Fi for you.

I just had one the other night. I was reading an article about memory in the National Geographic magazine. That night I had a dream about doing surgery on someone by taking parts of their brains out of their ears, "fixing" the part of the brain, and replacing it!
Talk about Sci-Fi.. and I hardly watch TV.

Strange dream... I dreamed that I had arranged a date with the guy I wanted to date, but ended up at a restaurant talking to a horrible sleazebag with the following stats:
Boastfulness: 100__ Intelligence: 5
Charm: 5_________ Ability to grin widely showing lots of teeth: 100
Uxuriousness: 100__ Desirability: 0
And all the time in cut-scenes I could see the guy I was SUPPOSED to be dating, in a dark somewhere-otherness, able to see my dilemma but unable to get me out of the situation.
I could quite literally not get out of my seat at the restaurant, and I could quite literally not say, "Go away. This is a mistake."
I must have been dreaming this so close to the state of full consciousness that I remembered it in perfect clarity when I woke. In fact, when I woke I immediately leapt up out of bed, relieved to be able to move and planning to run out of the restaurant...

The strangest thing about my dreams, I think, is that I just don't have any - or rather, I can never remember them. *shrugs* I try and try, but... just about the only dream I can remember is a nightmare I have from time to time, in which I'm driving my car and am rammed off the road by some hoon in a 4WD. My car flips over and I'm trapped, upside down, inside, as it slowly but inexorably slides down a muddy path towards a lake. I try to call the cops, but my mobile doesn't work. Meanwhile, the car slowly fills up with water, and I try to do everything to get out, but for some reason the doors don't open... and as the water fills up the car, I wake up in a cold sweat. *shrugs*
Hmm. Told you it wasn't much of a weird dream...

I must share with you my cliff diving story (in my car) sometime...
You'd freak out.
Because other than someone running you off - you described close to what's happened to me.
(*begins digging up the pictures of my then awesome wanna be mustang Red Ford Capri*)

No, but I did watch an episode of
House last night.

He must be related to the cheshire cat.
Rath, this has worked for me in the past for remembering dreams. Keep a small notpad by your bed with a pencil and each morning before you get out of bed, write down as much as you can remember. It got to a point where I was filling up every page with a very detailed dream every single morning. I stopped after a month because it didn't serve a significant enough purpose. Plus, it would've made me late for work.

I had an amazing dream last night.
I was dancing in a wide grassy field and the sun hardly shone through the clouds in the sky. It was breezy but it was a warm, comforting breeze. My eyes were closed. There was no band or instruments, but I was dancing to enlivening music (think: the last part of
Hey Jude) with my arms wide open. I was wearing a loose comfortable tank top and a flowy mid-length skirt.
I want to dream this again tonight.

I had a strange dream tonight, part scary and part hilarious.
My boyfriend's father was killed during a settling of scores between two criminal bands (it was in the yesterday news, in a city pretty far from my own but here in Italy nonetheless), and to avenge him my boyfriend dressed up in a black leather outfit (a mixture between the Scavenger Armor in
Fallout 3 and Batman's suit in
The Dark Knight) and, armed with a vast range of deadly weapons, penetrated in the criminal band's den to do justice by himself.
When I was waiting him at his house, I was hearing the music from the soundtrack from Martin Scorsese's
Goodfellas...

I wish I had interesting dreams. I tend to have dreams were I dream I'm doing data entry or something as dull.

Sounds like a nightmare to me.
