DOS interpreter for the GOG.com release of LSL7

The GOG.com release of Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love for Sail is the Windows 95 version, and used the SquirtTheCat installer. With a bit of work, I was able to put together the DOS interpreter (thanks to the official patch, which had it), the needed drivers (thanks to Phantasmagoria 2, which uses the same SCI version; I didn't seem to find any incompatibilities), and the RESOURCE.CFG file (this was extracted from the SHP LSL7 installer thanks to Universal Extractor, and edited to point to the VESA video driver).
Simply extract these files to the LSL7 directory, mount it in DOSBox, run Sier.exe, and you're all set!

I've just recently tested this (took me a while, I know), and the sound tends to get either scratchy or muted at times. I thought it might have had something to do with the drivers being meant for Phantasmagoria 2, not Leisure Suit Larry 7. But it appears that this is actually a DOSBox issue, as I've seen on
VOGONS and the
DOSBox compatibility list.

Try the DACTHUND.DRV for sound.

ThunderBoard didn't fix the scratchy music. In fact, it just caused it to ALWAYS be scratchy (unlike Sound Blaster, which only was scratchy occasionally)
EDIT: I put up an updated archive that has the drivers from the LSL7 demo and the INSTALL program from the RAMA demo. The scratchiness seems to be gone, or at least greatly reduced with the Sound Blaster driver.

What soundDrv are you using?
