So with the kickstarters soon to be blooming and being released, I figured I'd kick off some threads for each "Sierra related" Kickstarter (or at least the ones I am aware of and funded).

So with Leisure Suit Larry Reloaded - it's LSL1 all over again, with "altered" puzzled, but the same general storyline (and a new girl in the game). What are you most excited about? And did you fund the Kickstarter? What was it that made you want to fund it for as much as you did?

How could I not fund it it was a return to the one true Larry and when they remake them all we get a new Larry game so there are no negatives

I know some people were leery that it was the "same" LSL game. Same areas, and everything, just with altered puzzles. But for me, that was not an issue. I think I dropped $100 for the KS funding. Despite owning probably every version of the LSL Collections that have come out. (Only ones I don't own yet are the GoG ones, but I have all the other Sierra ones. Only delay on GoG purchase is because I dropped so much on all the Sierra KS campaigns!)

I don't have a credit card, but I asked my father if he could support the game for me as my birthday present. He was very enthusiastic and still follows all the progress. When the deal came through I did put some money from my Paypal account into it.

I'm not particularly excited by yet another remake of this title but if they're just testing the waters with a view to reviving the Franchise in a form that's interesting to me, I'm okay with that.

Well, I'm sure they'd be happy that you'd be ok with them releasing something as long as it was personally interesting to you

I agree; though the puzzles and situations promise to be a little different, and a new woman is introduced, I am hoping this gives us a chance to get LSL2 Reloaded, which I would personally love to see.

We've just downloaded and installed my copy, so I'll have something to do for a change now.

I bought it as well. It's funny, I just replayed the VGA remake a day or two ago.
