Decided to play MoE again after many years. Finally able to install under Win7 with helpful download and glide wrapper. Got through the few glitches until entering Realm of the Sun. Upon loading, the screen freezes. The sound effects continue until Connor says, "Am I really here in the Realm of the Sun?" If I open Task Manager and click on "switch to," the game re-appears and has advanced slightly, but stays frozen. Can't do anything but open Task Manager again and End Task. Is there any way to get through this glitch and be able to finish the game? Is there a "save game" available? All help appreciated!

It may be that you are missing files from that level. If you used the installer from here, run the diagnostic and attach the log here as a file. If you can't wait, you can try one of the save games:

I tried the save game and it's working (so far). I may be back if I run into more glitches! Thank you ever so much for the help! Love this forum!

If your installed folder is missing any resources you may still encounter more errors. Good luck and welcome to the forums.
