Your music for today

I've been looking for a long time and in many many ways to extract the music from the game Eragon, published by Sierra/Vivendi. It's not exactly a mind-blowing game, but that sound track... that sound track...

Guess what, I finally managed to do it. Here's one of the songs. Enjoy ;)

SEG audio file. Don't ask me what it is... I finally found a converter to wav... on some Russian gaming site. I thought "#@%$& it" and gave it a go. Worked like a charm.

You are a brave man. I assume that you scanned it with everything you could lay your hands on.

I take it that Game Audio Player didn't work.

This was the only way I managed to convert it. You like the music?

The game is one that I have never played. This music is something like movie music, who's scores are better appreciated with some familiarity with the game.

Rudy, if you're looking for good converters, here are two you can try:

1. Oxelon Media Converter - http://www.oxelon.com/media_converter.html

2. Freemake (multiple converters available) - http://www.freemake.com/downloads/

All of those are completely free and legal.

I think that he is looking more for extracters than converters.

I use Oxelon all the time, DPX. It's a great tool, but it didn't recognize these kind of audio files, so I needed something different this time.
