LSL Greatest hits and misses GOG version
I just bought the GOG version of this collection just yesterday and I found something very odd about the way they set it up. For LSL 1-5 + LSL 6 floppy disk version they are using ScummVM to run these games instead of DOSBox. Plus they used DOSBox for the hi-res version of LSL6 and Softporn Adventure. I mean why are did they setup the installer this way? I know that the games can be setup for DOSBox. I know that DOSBox is far superior for playing Sierra games compared to Scummvm.

I have them, but I have not taken a look at them, yet, so I cannot comment on how they did it, but that is odd. LSL6 and Softporn would have to be done in DOSBox as SVM supports neither.

Re: LSL Greatest hits and misses GOG version
I think that you mean the high-res version of LSL6 because the Low res version is compatible with ScummVM. Also then they first released the collection they did not include the high-res version of LSL6 due to technical issues. That is what they said on their site for the games. My question is is why did they use ScummVM for LSL1-5 + LSL6 low-res/floppy disk version when they could have easily used DOSBox? Maybe you could answer that question when you get the chance at looking at how they did it. I know why for LSL6 high-res version and SoftPorn.Collector wrote:I have them, but I have not taken a look at them, yet, so I cannot comment on how they did it, but that is odd. Not sure when I'll have time, I'll have a better idea then. Perhaps they used the 2006 VU games to start with and there were too many files missing for optimal play in DOSBox.
