Just a quick question... would a dyslexic person sing "Dog rest ye, merry gentlemen"? ;)

Merry Christmas to you all. May you all have a happy and restful holiday season, and a fantastic 2014. :D

Uhm... not to sound ignorant (too late!), but what are St Nicholas and Zappadan? *curious*

St Nicholas is a traditional celebration that Christmas was based on, it's celebrated on either the 5th or the 6th of December, involves presents, poems, seasonal candy and carols and is celebrated in The Netherlands, Belgium, and parts of France and Germany.

Zappadan is the period between December 4th (Frank Zappa's death day) and December 21st (Frank Zappa's birthday). Numerous Zappa-fans commemorate it in some special way, and a popular one which I always do, for the simple fact that the man made so many awesome records I completely forget to listen to some of them, is to listen to every record FZ made in his lifetime: some 60 albums. Usually I also add some post-humous releases and his films Baby Snakes and 200 Motels, and read a few books on/by him 'n all. This time round it was a bit difficult since I've just discovered a Japanese band I'm taking a shine to, but I made it well in time, with days to spare.
