Hello there, I bought the Space Collection a few years back (ok, fine, more like six years ago) and it installed and played just fine on my Vista. However, times have changed and my computer has been upgraded. The interesting part in all of this is that the games play, but the color is off (like it looks like my computer does when it tries to be in 256 color, and Space Quest 3 looks has bars through it).
Anyway I tried to use the "Space Quest Collection DOSBox Update (SQCollectionDBUpdate)" (since that worked just fine with King's Quest and it works like a champ!), however, when it asks me to tell it where my SQCollection is, it tells me that the SQCollection doesn't exist in that folder... <_< it is really starting to make me angry.
Is there anything I can do? If it helps any the Space Quest Collection that I have is the newer one (meaning it doesn't have Space Quest I AGI, the demo for SQVI, or the mini games).

I tried that one but my Antivirus program told me that it was trojan laced. So it would not download or install ><
Re: Problems with my Installer
If you have Norton, it is infamous for false positives.

Re: Problems with my Installer
I downloaded the installer and checked it with every scanner I have, which shows it as clean. This includes Malwarebytes, MS Security Essentials, Spybot and ESET Online Scanner. I also compared the file hash with a freshly compiled installer from the same script. It has the exact same hash, so they are identical. This means that nothing has happened to it on the server.
This seems to have been precipitated by Norton where others are referring to Symantec's lists. I have uploaded all of the contained files to a service that submits them to a couple of dozen online scanners. They all come back as clean, except for my diagnostic tool, which does nothing more than read a few registry entries and a few files in the game's folder and generate a file list for the game. It makes zero changes to the system outside of writing a log file of what it finds.
