Do you have a save from the witches cave, too?

I looked at the resources from patched and unpatched versions. The priority and control lines of the Pic resources have not been changed, so it is a bit of a puzzler. I presented this to NRS, so we'll see what he makes of it.

I reported this to NRS and he updated his patch. The size of the witches is the larger views from v1.000.111, but are no longer doubled:
NRS wrote:The witch cave now should look correct again. While PC version 1.000.111 uses a magnified view of all sprites similar to all other indoor settings, PC versions 1.003.006 and later (including Amiga) replaced them with the smaller outdoor scale. This may have been done to make evading the witches easier, although thanks to Rosella walking faster diagonally in those later versions, it is not really necessary.
The installer was been updated to the new version. Grab it from the first post.

Both issues indeed seem to be fixed now. Yay.

If you have the Munt software installed; you can edit the RESOURCE.CFG file and tell it to use MT32.DRV and it should use the Munt sound.

Should work. I did it. Collector has instructions here:

The soundtrack on Codename: Iceman is mind blowing.

Of course, the game also tends to make folks want to blow their minds...

But really, the soundtrack is so amazing with true music w/Munt.

Hi, i think a installer and no-cd for The Blackstone Chronicles could help run it.

It actually runs ok, if you manage to install quicktime 3. I used the quicktime files from my install of QFG5 (with your installer) and that seemed to make it portable. The only thing missing is a no-cd and copying the files. A funny about this game, is that CD1 and CD2 have the same movies, except in different resolutions and you choose the first time which CD you're going to use, so you only need to copy the files from the 'better' CD (cd2) if you manage to make a working no-cd.

I would consider it, but I do not have a copy of the game to develop an installer. BTW, I take it that you are the SCO on the QfMG forums and Serious Callers Only on VOGONS.

Hey Collector!
I see on the first page Noctropolis was requested. I'd love to see this have a awesome installer. I have 2 copies of the game (A complete in box one and a loose CD only one) if you want, I can donate you the loose one.

Keep up the great work!!
~John

(As for other DOS games to suggest, I don't know many that weren't Sierra, Lucas Arts, or crap. But 2 I can think of that I enjoyed (that don't already have an installer or Scummvm support) would be "Ripper" with Christopher Walken, and Nickelodeon's "Are you afraid of the dark?" if those ever got installers, that be sweeeeeet)
Larry Laffer: So... uh, did I ever tell you I know Al Lowe personally?
Drew Baringmore: Who? Oh, I remember him! He came through here last November. Unimpressive.
Larry Laffer: Yeah, maybe.
Drew Baringmore: Not him, Larry. You!

The lack of the game is why I have never gotten around to looking at it.
