GK3 - XP Help

Hello everybody and a happy new year!

I've just got Gabriel Knight 3 few days ago, the installation went fine but the game refuses to work.

First of all the Sierra intro movie can only be heard but not seen and then the screen turn black and the game freezes and I have the end the process with ctrl+alt+del.

I tried running the game with all the available compatibility modes but its seems that due to a reasons, it can't work.

Maybe I'm missing something.

Welcome to SHP. Do you have FFD Show installed? This set of codecs can cause this.
