Factory sealed ZX Spectrum 48K - does it exist?

I've been looking for years for a factory-sealed, box never opened, ZX Spectrum 48K (80's computer mostly sold in europe, it was my first computer, I inherited it from my brother in the early nineties).
I know there are a lot of "archaeologists" in this forum...
Does anyone have any ideias of where to look? I've even been able to track down the factory where they were assembled in Portugal (the country where I live), but that factory has long been sold to another company.
Didn't have any luck on the internet and small "garage sales", also.
I've bought two used models (one had a faulty memory chip), but I wonder if a factory sealed one exists!

I don't know if you will ever find one not opened... because if you got that, stands to reason back then you probably opened it too.

You're almost certainly right!
If I were to find a factory sealed one I would have an even bigger dilemma in my hands... to open or not to open...
Maybe someone got one as a gift in the 80's but instead of opening it just stored it in the attic and forgot about it, but unfortunately the odds of me finding it are neglectable!

Because computers back then were so cheap, that if you got one, you'd be like, "Meh. I'll put it in the attic."

Well... perhaps if you gave one to grandma Knight!
This computer wasn't really that expensive, in fact, that's one of the reasons why it sold in such large numbers. In the late eighties almost every kid in my neighbourhood had one - you would connect it to the tv and a tape recorder - and I lived in an area where the average family income was just slightly above a single minimum wage.
You never know, maybe I'll strike a jackpot someday!
