GK1 Remake question... sigh. Where will it end...?

So I'm playing the GK1 remake, and having a blast from the past.
Everything's going fine, until about day 4...
You see, I know that I need to get Willy Jr.,
the crocodile mask from the Dixieland drug store. If I remember rightly, it costs $100, which I get by
selling my father's painting from the shop to Bruno.
Unfortunately,
I've done that - and now the owner of the drug store has upped the price to $120, so I still can't get Willy Jr.
Any ideas about what I can do? Please, no spoilers.

Well, I know that not all the puzzles are the same as GK1. They've changed things around. So what may have been the solution once, is no longer the solution - or is just a small step in the ultimate solution.
That said, I've not played it, just going off what's been said about the game by Jane and company.

Well... maybe you should
search some inspiration among your ancestors, if you can find where they are! !

Hmmm... do you mean that I should
take a walk in the graveyard? That's a great idea. I think that's one of the objectives for this day in any case. Thanks!

How did it go?
I have just finished the game, it brought back a lot of memories.
Overall, a great remake, true to the original.
Now all we have to do is restart the campaign for GK4.

Everything's going fine. I'm up to day 10, and have
entered the voodoo hounfour after leaving Mosely a signal. This place (and the great music!) is giving me the creeps... as it's supposed to do, I guess, so job well done.
I did run into a spot of trouble with
those darn mummies, but I only died 3 times in room 5 - you know, where the mummy blocks the door and you have to outmanoeuvre it. That death always gave me the creeps. *shudder*
I wonder how it will all end...? I'll try both endings - i.e.
betraying Malia and not betraying Malia. I think I'll also try the various deaths, just to see what happens.

I died a lot of times before outmanouvering that mummie, too!
The puzzle where you had to wait for the running mouse to break the jar containing the 20$ bill was a bit far-fetched to me, after all, Gabriel had 20 dollars in the register at the store... lol

Yes, but Grace will do unspeakable acts of violence to him if he touches it. After all,
it's the only change she has left.
That said,
I wonder who left that $20 in the vase? That puzzle seemed a little bit pointless to me, given that
Willy was willing to part with Willy Jr. for $100 in the original game. *shrug* Any ideas why this new puzzle was put in the remake?

Yay! I just finished the GK1 remake!
'Tis a good game. GK games always give us gruesome death scenes.

You know, I never thought about it that way, but you're absolutely right, BBP.
