Mask of Eternity lockup

Played this through the first 4 levels with just a few random lockups (Save often and restore) but now in the Barren Reaches, only the arms dealer actually works properly. If I switch on subtitles I can see Conner's questions but none answer. I knew about the Stone of Order so I was able to get it and return it to it's place but the cut scene locks up so I can't proceed any further. Anyway of getting past?

I did.

Despite some minor problems, you've done a good job with these.

There are patches included to address the lockups. While these mostly fix the lockups they are not always 100%. Some work has been done to work towards a full fix. If you are having problems with a lockup you can try one of the old workarounds, like entering the scene with the lockup in 1st person view or play the game from an earlier point and do things in a different sequence than you did before. If non of these work, there are save games that you can download from the game's help page here and load a game just after the lockup.
