Today, I installed the LSL Collection, followed by Collector's Installer of the Collection ( )
Anyway, when I click on, let's say, LSL6 the program open the default prompt of DOSBox and - if I want to plat the game - I have to manually mount the correspondent drive. Is this how it is supposed to run or am I doing something wrong?
EDIT: Since I was unsure to have the last version of DOSBox, I downloaded version 0.72, and renamed the folder in a simple "DOSBox". After doing so, if I try to run any LSL games from the collection, I can't and I'm prompted with a window saying I'm missing a file...

Re: LSL Collection
Did you install the games in the Program Files directory? There are permissions issues with this folder in Vista that prevent some programs from being able to write to that causes problems with older games. Try installing into, say, C:\Sierra\ instead of C:\Program Files\ (or what ever the Italian equivalent of this folder is) and then apply the patch.

Re: LSL Collection
Nope, it doesn't work.
I noticed that the DOSBox Config file for each game doesn't have anything under the [autoexec] command. I tried adding the proper lines but it doesn't work. Also, the games try to find DOSBox in the directory \DOSBox-0.70 which isn't the default directory installed through King's Quest Collection Patch Update.
I guess I'll just uninstall the collection.

Re: LSL Collection
The LSL patch is one that I had not finished the update on. I had forgotten that I put it on hold because I was going to have it add the games to the Vista Games Explorer, but I needed to research how to register games with it first. I went ahead and finished it except for Games Explorer. It should be Vista compatible, now. The games can be installed anywhere, making it more compatible with non US versions and allowing to have the games installed outside of the Program Files folder. This version includes giant icons for Vista and can add LSL1 AGI & LSL7 to the collection, if you have those games. Just insert your LSL7 CD in and copy the LSL game files to the same folder as the patch before you run it.
Redownload the patch and let me know how it goes.

Collector, the patch can't be downloaded. Clicking on the link results in a Not Found error.
