A while ago, I posted news about my discovery of the words to the extra verse in the "Land Beyond Dreams" MIDI. Now I've taken the storyboard sketches from that song and made a video of them synced to the MIDI.
This video not only contains the verse cut from the final movie, but also a few animations and camera moves that were also left out (like that rotation around the cliff near the end - I wonder if they planned to use 3D to pull that off?).
Maybe I was just in a strange frame of mind when I was putting these sketches together, because my thoughts while compiling a particular scene were something like, "Okay, Rosella is sadly walking along, depressed that she has to get married...now she's walking towards the edge of a really high cliff...Woah, that sure is open to interpretation."
