There and back again; a Neverending Tale. Neverending Nights

Got in my head to revisit the series and update the video... I am in the process of re-filming all the episodes, to true 1080p HD.
Sadly a lot of the voice actors have moved (and it'd be a monster of an effort to get everyone to record), so I am using the original audio (which is a shame, because in some episodes, because it wasn't recorded in our home made studio, the audio suffers). But it is what it is. I loved creating this. And I am loving visiting it again.
Here's the first episode (you can click the gear icon on the video to select HD if it doesn't do it automatically).
In the event that doesn't work, it's here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Wr4-u9-zw0
Nice to visit Neverending Nights again. ^_^ I remember this series.
"So... how did you become a ranger?"
"I camped in my uncle's back yard... he's got, like, dogs and stuff, and really beautiful roses with... thorns, I think they're called..."

Hah! Thanks! I am enjoying re-filming the episodes. The idea is to release a new one every Saturday. See if there's an interest that carries through with viewers; and potentially begin a new series.
Heh - it's been so long, the reference to the beautiful roses with thorns... is actually a reference to a D&D monster... which I can't recall at the moment.
Obviously the ranger can't bear to be wrong, even when he's obviously incompetent.
I wonder why the fighter hadn't left him in the woods and went back to town to become an accountant or something.

That would have been the smartest thing for Grayson to do - is leave Peter behind. (But by that time, they were already lost in the woods...)
Did you catch the Sierra reference in Episode 03?

Uh, not really? Was there a dwarf named Paul in a Sierra game? Now I'm confused.
Or was it the thing about the dwarf who can't draw a map if his life depended on it?

You're close. Take a look at the map when it cuts to the map.

*looks at the map* OK... you start, go through a forest, then through mountains, then through desert, and finally a dragon... hmm. *thinks* Would this have something to do with KQ5 or KQ6, by any chance?

You did notice the "dragon mountain" right?

D'oh! Yes, I noticed the Dragon Mountain, but didn't connect it to Sierra. That's QfG5!
@ the episode. Salt for sale! Your salt needs are my concern!
Also, nice "Copa Cabana" reference. "The things she could do with a banan... ahem."
