Custom disk labels

Post by pl212 »

Does anyone know when Sierra stopped using custom-designed disk labels for each game? I believe Police Quest 1, for example, had blue labels with a custom font and bullet-hole design, on both 3.5 and 5.25 media. But later games have a kind of generic label where the title and disk number are printed using an impact printer. What was the last game to ship with a title-specific label?

That's hard to narrow down... because I believe different versions of the same game, sometimes came with different labels on their disks.
