Since the older topics on movies and TV haven't been posted to in a while, I figured why not start up a new conversation!

What are some movies and TV shows that you've been watching recently that you've enjoyed?

Movie-wise, I've been working to catch up on some of the (presumptive) Oscar nominees (an annual tradition that I have). I absolutely loved La La Land, and I would recommend it to absolutely anyone.

Nothing specific, waiting for the last part of the season of the Walking Dead. It kind of feels like they jumped the shark with the season opener, but I'll give it a little more of a chance with the 2nd half. Other than that I was watching The OA, which could have been good, but in the end failed to deliver.

Other than Star Wars or (Disney) Marvel Movies, there isn't anything I am typically excited for movie wise.

TV Show wise... Vikings.

I watch other shows, but Vikings is where I get the most enjoyment. Kick the wife out of the room. Turn off the lights, shut out the world - and dive in.

Pfff... let's see...
Recently I watched a Japanese film called After Life I enjoyed very much... last month there was a Jonathan Creek christmas special which was fun. It had a lot of references to earlier episodes, which made me watch the first two seasons again. They're great!

And I'm a fan of QI!
