So I started playing QfG5 again (after a long hiatus), and am having a good time. This time, I thought I would try to listen to what everyone has to say about everything, rather than try to rush through the game and set a record time.
I'm playing a Paladin with magic skills. I've done the first rite, got through the ceremony for the second rite, and watched Ugarte nearly die (dratted assassin! *shakes fist comically* ). Now I've paid Andre to take me out in his boat to go to Sifnos... but we can just see islands, and the mercenary fortress never shows up. That is, Andre never gives the spiel about approaching Sifnos and waiting until dark, etc.
What's going on? Any ideas how I can move rite 2 forward?

Re: QfG5 question - SHP installer, Rite 2
Ah! Not to worry, I found the solution. The island of Sifnos is not marked on the map, and is a tiny island between Kea and Piperi - so it's easy to miss. Once you hit its shores, though, the quest moves forward.
I think I dimly recall that there used to be an icon showing a fortress on that island? But that might just be my old-ish brain thinking of things that I saw when I played this game back in 1998.
Never mind... thanks for letting me ramble. Please feel free to delete this thread if it's taking up space... thanks!
P.S. I included the words "SHP installer" in the title because, IIRC, I used an SHP installer to install and play this game? But again, I might have simply forgotten.
