Online email hosts - recommendations?

As I've posted out, I have recently had some continuing problems with my current email host (yahoo mail), so I've increasingly been looking around for another email host. I know about all the usual suspects (e.g. hotmail, yahoo mail, GMail etc.), but is there anything I need to watch out for, and are there any good hosts you can recommend? Thanks. :)

I'd strongly recommend Gmail. It's very reliable, has tons of storage space and is easily accessed through your browser. If you like using Outlook, Outlook Express or Thunderbird, your e-mail can also be imported and subsequently downloaded whenever new mail arrives.

Having Gmail as a free e-mail extension looks a little more professional than either Yahoo or Hotmail. While it's true that Gmail is not a professional e-mail address (nor was it designed to be such), the negative connotations that surround both Yahoo and Hotmail do not exist.

I mostly use my Gamil account these days. I don't know if an invite is still required for a Gmail account, but I can send you one.

Like everyone else so far - I recommend gmail. I dropped my hotmail and yahoo account once I got my gmail account set up. And just like most other ones - you can pop3 your other mail (if they support it) into gmail (which is what I do). I have all of my mail pour into gmail. It's quite nice.

Gmail you can sign up now with out an invite. I use my Gmail account all the time. I have a hotmail school email which gets forwarded to my gmail account as well as my email account that I have with my isp which still is my primary email account and that gets forwarded as well so I have copies of the emails in case I need to search for an old email that I need which makes gmail great. I recommend gmail.

Thanks! :)

GMail has been my #1 pick too for a little while. So I hope there won't be a problem getting an account I want. ;)

The only tiresome bit with moving from one to the other would be letting everyone know that I've changed over, because I haven't really kept a database of people and email addresses... hmm. The next step, I think, will be to create one and then change over. Well, thanks again. :)

I too am a fan of Gmail :)
And the fact you can add up to 5 other email accounts (not only from gmail), is fantastic. In fact, it also lets you answer with their adresses from within gmail.
I just did that last night, and the rest I have I forwarded to it.

I actually had to do that, because my Vista Mail client is fucked up - parden my language, lol.
