This thread is for telling two lies and a single truth (out of the three). The single truth must be about you (the real you, not the character).

The next person guesses, which is the truth; and then posts their own two lies and a truth. The person whose truth/lies have been guessed; must CONFIRM or DENY, whether the person has guessed correctly, before they can guess the next person's truth. If the person has guessed INCORRECTLY, you need only tell them they were wrong. The person need not keep guessing until they're right. Think of these as CLUES... if someone missed it, too bad! Carry on!

So for example, I post:

My dog is named Toulouse.
I live in San Diego.
My cat is named Odin.

The next poster might come along and guess that my dog is named Toulouse is my truth. Then they would post their own two lies, and a single truth.

Before I could then guess anyone else's; I must confirm or deny that their guess is correct.

So who shall step up and tell us two lies and one truth?

Mine:

I enjoy linen-scented candles during late night gaming sessions.

I'm happy to share details if anyone's interested (won't blame you if you're not ). It's been long enough that I can laugh at it.

You're both incorrect! Reubens are my favourite sandwiches! And linen candles are the one kind of candle I don't game to (and yet the drug store always has a whole shelf-full stocked, so I guess somebody's enjoying them.) I prefer vanilla, orange, and cinnamon-scented, personally.

My truth is something I'll share after the masquerade is over.

Do remember - if someone guesses the truth/lie incorrectly, you only need tell them they're incorrect! They need not try and guess again, and if they do guess again (correctly) you need not tell them they're correct (though you can not tell them they're incorrect if you choose to answer them!)

Hmm... isn't it more fun if we can figure out the truth, and then share a story or two about it? I certainly don't mind sharing a story or two about my time in Greece.
