Nice photos there, Tawm.

Whenever I see photos of you as Jack Sparrow, I don't even think twice about it being a costume! It's just a part of who you are.

I didn't do anything for Halloween this year except to help my sister take her babies out trick-or-treating. Her oldest is 5 and dressed up as Princess Sophia the 1st, and her 4 month old was a cute lil pumpkin. ^_^ I guess I dressed up as the stroller pusher.

You not dressing up is a shame... you always do amazing stuff.

And I never consider myself Jack Sparrow... he's too attractive for me to try and imitate. So I just go for "pirate." Although this Halloween when I went to Longship Brewery, a girl there said, "You can't be a pirate if your hair is prettier than mine."

The pirate thing has become a joke at work - when people ask, "What are you dressing up as?" And I say, "A pirate." The typical response is, "That's your normal clothes. What are you dressing up as though?"

Next year, if I plan everything right - I am going to mix it up... slightly. And dress as a Viking.

Yes! Because I already have the have the shaved head and beard, and everyone at work calls me Ragnar.

That's leather he's wearing in that photo. That I can get made.
(Chainmail too, if needed... I know a lot of people in SCA who could probably make it, if I needed it... they do the whole Potrero War here in San Diego).
