New Ibanez Axe

The other day I went to a local music store all ready to splurge on a good guitar at last (I've been using a beginner-class guitar until now and I've been playing for 11 years or so, so it was a long time coming). But when I got there I found out they were having huge blow out sale this month so it was good timing. I got my guitar for more than 25% off. It's an Ibanez RG Series R420EX. It's got 24 frets with sharktooth inlays, a Floyd Rose Tremelo locking system, and a Red Arctic Frost finish. It's a beautiful guitar and the sound is sooooo much better than my old piece of garbage. Finally after 11 years I finally have a guitar worthy of my ability. I also got a nice hard case to house it in. Here's some pictures for you other guitar players out there or anybody who'll find this interesting.

Inside the case.

Standing upright. (the light isn't very good here and doesn't do the finish justice)

A nice body shot. (this one does the finish justice although it's a little overbright)

I probably know the answer to this - but are you familiar with (the late) Criss Oliva?

He played an Ibenz quite frequently. As a matter of fact a painting they did with his white Ibenz with roses around it will probably be the only (or first) tattoo I ever get...

Figured, as much.

But regardless, beautiful guitar man - and indeed a most excellent price. It's awesome when fate works out like that... the day you decide you need a new guitar, they're having a blow out on some nice guitars.
