QfG4 - meetings with Katrina

Apart from the obligatory, storyline-related meetings with Katrina (when the Hero first exits the cave and then, extensively, at the end of the game) and the moment in the castle when you can spy on Katrina and Ad Avis talking, it is also possible to meet Katrina on various nights (with the Hero still, at least theoretically, not realising who she is). However, it's hard... when last replaying it, I've only managed to meet her once in front of the town gate. I feel like her and the Hero's feelings would be more plausible if he had more opportunities to meet her, but usually I can't find her, I return to the front of the gate, but she's not there. And you can't also talk with her a lot, after a few questions she says that she has to return home. Any advice? Can you meet her only on some nights, or in principle on every night, at least until Tanya is returned to her parents? Is evening (though already completely dark) perhaps too early, do you have to wait all the time until the middle of the night, for example?

I'm pretty sure that you can meet her in front of the town on night 3, and I've met her on at least one more occasion - but I can't remember what night, specifically, it has to be.
