So, much like the SQ1 logo, I've been working on the SQ2 logo in wallpaper form in 4k, 1440p, and 1080p. This time I had to use Blender to get the proper 3D look of the text, whereas for SQ1 I just used Photoshop. Who you like it. There's a total of 10 variations in those three resolutions which brings it to 30 possibilities. Whew!

How long does it take you to make these?

This one took a couple months working off and on because I modelled it in 3D with Blender. The logo and the ship. The SQ1 image took not as long but there were a lot of details like the planets, the starburst, and stuff to get looking right. SQ3 was relatively easy. Once I had the text in it was just a matter of giving it a stroke outline and adding inner and outer glows of varying gradients and intensities until it matched the original more or less.
