This morning (about 5.5 hours ago) I made a new post in this forum, a fun take on Monkey Island. I didn't save the post to a text file, because I didn't see the need.

It's 5.5 hours later... the SHP forums have changed from the usual brown-and-gray to a nice light blue, but my post is gone! (And what makes it particularly galling is that I found a rhyme for "orange", which is famously hard to do).

Any idea what happened?

given that the username has now a dropdown menu, I think that the forum was upgraded.

It.. it does??! *tries* Sigh... I can't seem to edit my posts. Drat it!

Edit: unless... unless I try to do it right away? But IIRC, I could do that right away BEFORE the upgrade, too.

Still, it doesn't change the fact that I lost a rhyme for "orange" (and a bit more). Drat it!

Yep. An upgrade. It will take a while to do a new style, so we are stuck with prosilver for a while.

Urpmph! That's going to take some getting used to!

I keep seeing a broken image link in your signature.

Force a full refresh of the page.

Doesn't help. It just says "Image".

It was showing up for me until I did the full refresh. The image is at http://sierrahelp.com/forums/forum_dl/sig.gif , which points to a "The requested page could not be found." page.

Yup, I see the same thing...
And some of the previous posts will say "Image" with a link, rather than displaying the image (but new posts will actually show the image as it used to be). Not a big deal. Probably nice for people who don't have quick Internets.

I'm baaaaack!

After the upgrade I suffered login problems: after logging in I'd almost immediately be thrown out.
Found it was because I'd changed the board theme to Sierra theme rather than prosilver. So I'd like to:
- warn you all against changing your board theme for now;
- thank Qbix to showing the fix for me;
- share this link www.sierrahelp.com/forums/index.php?style=1 to log in onto the Prosilver theme even if you changed your settings, so you can change it back and post again.

Yeah, I had similar problems with the 32 as well. I think it is still work in progress.

The other style is what I was working on before, but it doesn't work with this version of forum software. It is only active for me to work on it, so stay with Prosilver until I can redo the other style. If I do not get the time to do it soon, I may install a temp style in the mean time. Prosilver is butt-ugly.
