Gears of War 5, 2019.

I am so freaking excited. I literally want to just go to sleep until this comes out.

It's time to gear up and save the world, once again.

I thought you were excited about Pillars of Eternity II about 2-3 weeks ago, because it had pirates. :)

Yeah. I obsessed over it and beat it in about two weeks. But this was getting up early, playing before work. Coming home, playing until my forehead hit the keyboard. Rinse and repeat.

It's freaking amazing.

But now this!

THIS!

I am ready to save the world again.

OK... I don't know very much about Gears of War, sorry. :? But if it's such a big deal for you, then OK! :)

I'm not very big on games with sci-fi themes in general. The last game with sci-fi themes I played was probably the remake of SQ2 (if you don't count SQ4 and 5, which I never played until recently). Before that? Starcraft 1, maybe 10-12 years ago. ;)

Heh, yeah. Gears of War is a franchise I absolutely love. Which is odd - because I am typically not one for "shooter games." But Gears of War did such a fantastic job developing their world, and especially their characters, that I was hooked. I keep hoping for a Gears of War RPG pen & paper game to get released... not that I have anyone who would play it with me, but just so I could devour what other information the RPG pen & paper books would have about the world!

Which is fine! No one's into every aspect of every genre! :)
