question re: KQ8 installer

Hello, I noticed on the GOG forums Aroenai made a mention that he updated his installer to include some 'weirdling shop fix' (and possibly other fixes) that were not included yet in your installer. Although this was a few years ago, I was just wondering were those changes incorporated into your installer?

Also, is it still recommended to stay with the built-in (though outdated) Zeckensack glide wrapper for best, lag-free performance? Or have other competing glide wrappers (dgvoodoo2, nglide, etc) progressed further to a point where they provide a much more smoother gameplay?

Use dgVoodoo2 if you have no issues with it, otherwise you can fall back on Zeckensack's.

I have not updated the MoE installer for some time now, but it is more recent than that build. There have been other developments, but have not had time to get back to it.
