Has anyone else watched this? I was reluctant to watch it, because I remember the original series (which I had watched as a kid) being super corny.

I finally broke down and watched it, because a guy at work whose opinion I trust, told me it was really good!

And he wasn't wrong! Just curious if anyone else gave it a spin?

I loved it.

My dad really loved it and got me to watch most of the pilot. Really good. I'm a huge fan of the original show and the 1997 movie. Interesting twists they did with it. I think it was handled perfectly. I want to watch more of it.

I'm taking my kids through the original first season right now. They recently watched the 90s movie too. Eventually we'll start this one as well. Really impressed with the tone, content, and plot development. I agree about the worst luck! Lol it's like Breaking Bad for the whole family instead of just adults.

Watched the first episode and loved it. I'm saving the rest of the season for a flight later this year. The production values and family dynamics are really impressive so far. It's a really good update to the source material.

I have an aversion to reboots.

You're going to enjoy it. Though with the amount of bad (and good) luck this family has - watching it on a flight might not be ideal.

So do I normally. However, my memory of the original Lost in Space (watched it as a kid) is a cheesy one. So I wasn't too concerned that they were "going to mess it up."
