So everyone is standing in a unique room; tell us what you're doing in there.

You can describe as much as you want, or be as vague as a one-liner; but it should be related to the room itself.

No one can use a room that's already been posted, until all rooms have been used.

You can move to another room (not one that's already been mentioned) once someone else posts that they have entered a room.

Once all rooms have been used, the next poster can begin in ANY room they want, to describe what they're doing there...

Rinse and repeat.

The rooms are:

• Ballroom

• Billiard Room

• Conservatory

• Dining Room

• Hall

• Kitchen

• Library

• Lounge

• Study

I will start with...

I am in the kitchen looking for something to eat...

I am in the library, looking for a good book to read.

I am in the conservatory, picking up tomato plants and tying them to the fence because they grew too big and fell over.

I am in Mr Boddy's Study, having turned off the lights and put on the electric lamp. It is dark. I am looking through his papers to find whether or not there is any truth to Senator McCarthy's allegations that Mr Boddy is a secret Communist.

I am in the dining room, admiring the china.

I have satisfied myself that Mr Boddy is not, in fact, a Communist agent. Senator McCarthy will be disappointed.

I have moved to the Ballroom and put on a jazz record. Perhaps Miss Scarlett will drop in, and we could have a dance. And I could question her about her movements.

In the kitchen, looking for some more mushrooms, as a certain Mario has squished all the ones that I had

I'm in the lounge right now, roasting marshmallows over the fireplace. You're all welcome to join me. I'm making s'mores.

I grow weary of listening to the records in the ballroom and turn them off. I join Buttercup in the lounge and enjoy some s'mores.

I am in the hall with a clear view of all of the rooms, noting that everyone is exactly where I want them. Mwah, hah, hah, hah.

I went to the library to find a book about putting out fires. Lounge-based fires, to be specific. It's kind of an emergency.
