Voices in sleep....

Hey everyone!
I have another question. I remember playing Shadows a few years ago, and occasionally when sleeping at the inn I would hear voices in my sleep (Katrina & Addy, and Erasmus and Fenrus) But on my recent thief playthrough I didn't experience any of them. But I did get all the staff dreams.
I'm playing again as a wizard and I'm hoping to get all the inn dreams. How many are there? Are they event triggered or do they happen on certain nights? I want to experience them, then sleep at the staff afterwards to make sure I get all possible dreams.
