Heh - he's getting tromped right now. I dunno how it's possible - but one of the dogs has 800+ votes. And what's odd they got 700 votes in less than 3 hours. I had checked it at like 11am (PST) yesterday - and the dog at the top had 143 votes compared to Odin's (at the time) 55 votes. When I checked two hours later (or so) - it had jumped to 820 votes!
Now considering I emailed this to everyone in my address book in gmail, posted it on my personal forum (and sent out a mass email from the forum), posted it on my Neverending Nights forum and blog (and did a mass email from it as well), then posted it here, on ElfQuest.com, MySpace (all three pages - mine, PirateBooty.net and Neverending Nights), as well as my Facebook... I am surprised that someone somehow managed to get 800 votes... I thought I was pushing it hard to get Odin as many votes as possible... how does someone gain 800 votes in 3 hours?
The voting is done by unique IP address (to prevent voting multiple times) - but I figure if you have a phone modem, everytime you connect, you will usually get a new IP address each time (since someone who dials in next may get the IP address you previously had)... But to hang up and reconnect that many times... would someone do that? Or do they just know how to advertise their dog THAT well?

If Odin ran for president it'd be...
"Treats... treats... treats... rub my belly.... treats... treats... treats..."

I can see the news reports now: "The Secret Service had to pick up the President's excrement on the White House lawn today, in addition to covering up holes that the President dug. According to recent reports, the President also marked his territory in the Oval Office. A cleanup crew is on hand."

That would be about it too... Although he's gotten much better about not digging... unless we're on the beach... then... he believes he can dig to China... and I almost believe he can make it with the viciousness in which he attacks the sand!

Odin came within the top 10 which is amazing! Thank you all for voting for Odin and really making it possible for him to race through the charts!

Now, as you know I'm a cat-lover. So maybe I'm biased...
... but the first dog is horrible!
Odin deserved his spot!

While I agree with you about the first dog ... and that Odin deserved it's spot... I think we both may be QUITE biased considering how much I ramble about Odin and all the pictures I have shared of him.

I can't even see most of the top dog. What was this being judged on? How good a dog looks with it's face covering the whole lens?
At least Odin is the top non-rat dog on there. Any dog that can fit in a purse doesn't count as a real dog (apologies in advance to owners of rat dogs on the forum.)
